Skater - Skate Legendary Spots App Reviews

This app was so frustrating to download and to attempt to enjoy. Doing any trick was difficult and Im a skater of 5 years. Getting to do any trick besides an Ollie or a kick flip was impossible. I wasted $5 on a worthless app. Dont get it. Not worth it.

Fun game to play and works well but crashes about every 5 seconds

The game overall is a very fun game, but glitches ruin the game. At stoner park whenever I jump down a set of stairs I lose control of my board and it floats away from me. Or at El Toro sometimes I spawn in falling through the map and have to restart the whole game to fix it. The sound is also very distorted and sounds creepy.

I just bought this game and it already shut down for me. I paid 5 bucks for this and I get something that shuts down automatically

Great game! I really like it but whenever I go in to the Carlsbad gap I go under ground and I just fall into nothing

The recent updates effecting the board control have crippled the game. My board is constantly flipping over while turning ect. Was a 10* game before hand. Could use a few more spots and some new challenges

Great concept and ideas behind this game. Any skater would love this. The spots are perfect although I would like to see more vert style parks or bowls. More freestyle tricks like truck stand (primo) or Casper. That would make it 100 times better in my opinion. It is very glitchy from what I have experienced and I think an update is needed. Great game but could be a lot better.

Every time I try to play the game it freezes and it says app has froze and failed to register user

I love this app but I cant play on love park because right when I spawn in I fall under the park

Please add more skate spots soon, and please can you slightly make the board flip motion for hard flips, vheels, vflips, and inward heels a little less awkward looking, along with all the other stances?

This game is great. Took me a sec to get used to the controls passed basic Ollie, shove its, flips. But then next thing i know im doing every trick in the book. Its satisfying and fun. But.... And it may just be me, but a on 6splus, its crashing A LOT. sometimes after 15 minutes, and sometimes 3 times with about 5 minutes. So really hope that changes! Otherwise 5 stars ALL DAY.

First of all, let me say that I am a serious skateboarder of 20 years. This game is very true to skateboarding, and skate history. Every map is a famous historical skate spot, programmed with precision and care. The developers have recently been dealing with a few bugs, a couple of which are due to Game-Center glitches, (my iOS Game-Center itself will still not launch properly.) With that said, Ive never interacted with a group of developers more dedicated to squashing these bugs and bringing their users a FUN & powerful app. They wont nickel and dime you for new content, which to me is ideal in a paid app. For those of you still experiencing bugs, be patient, they really are working hard to make your experience the best they can be. For those of you who love skateboarding, either from a skater or a gamer perspective, this game is a must have. Keep it up guys! As the bugs get worked out this game will stand alone as one of the greats of all time.

For some reason when I start and it makes you do the tutorial it does not let me double tap to get back on the board and when I go to the next tutorial the screen turns navy blue. It looks so fun when other people play it but I cant. Ply have an update asap and fix this because I payed money for something I cant play. Does anyone else have this issue?

I would enjoy this game more if the game makers would fix the glitches. I regret buying this game now:(

There are just so many bugs in this game right now its ridiculous. I uninstalled this awhile back due to the GameCenter bug not letting me log in. I just reinstalled it, and it let me skip the GameCenter login(cool), but now I keep getting a blue screen(not cool). Also, the prospect of having to start over from scratch doesnt sound very appealing. Having to copy other peoples tricks, by and large, isnt the least bit fun. And the spots are all pretty boring (I put 100s of hours into this before I uninstalled it). I hope a sequel comes out eventually with more creative spots with better flow(like the warehouse spot), and nix the having to copy peoples weird crazy unrepeatable lines. Just keep it real. I care more about game play than I do about having current shoe styles available. All that being said, its still the funniest skating game to play on iOS, if it worked that is.

This game is amazing dont listen to the bad reviews. There just non skaters, if you skate in real life this game is great and you will understand tricks and be able to do them. I have one suggestion, add an offline mode and online games of skate

This actually use to be my favorite game and normally I would give it 5 stars but it so buggy now, I literally cannot play the game. I deleted a while ago and re downloaded it and when I go through the tutorial, all goes well, until I have to save a run, in which the game glitches out and fails to display open run slots to save in, then crashes and shows a blue screen but somehow continues to run but not allowing any controls. Please fix this game, it used to be my only escape from class and was my favorite game. Please fix, it will be much appreciated by many players

I get a blue screen during the tutorial I cant believe I paid for this !
